A Parrot, a lawyer, a widow and a loss


A personal journey to Louis-Ferdinand Céline last house in Meudon, in the suburbs of Paris. It tells about the uncertainties of filmmaking and the stubbornness that eludes the impediments and doubts. “I especially remember the feeling of knowing that Lucette, Céline´s 104-years-old widow, was aware of my presence from her room in the second floor while I was filming downstairs. She could surely hear me as I moved around. She didn’t make a sound.  To me she was a ghost from the past as much as her husband presence in the house...”
